The BRD operates on a shared expense model, rather than as a charter service. To participate, you will need to obtain an Alabama saltwater fishing license with a "reef endorsement." The HMS (pelagic license) is included with the boat.

Rental Requirements:
- All renters born after January 1, 1988 are required to show proof of having a Boater Safety Card before you will be allowed to rent. (If you have a captains license you are exempt but must bring upon arrival)
- Lifetime Boater Safety Card or Temporary Boater Safety Card
- Must be 21 years old to rent/operate - Must bring valid government issued ID upon arrival.
- Bare Boat Rentals with no captain - gas will be full when you get the rental. You are responsible for filling it before drop off. If you fail to fill the tank, you will be charged a fuel charge within 24hrs after boat has been returned.
